Our history

1973

Creation of Polyson / The first technical service company created in France, renamed JLT Group in 1983.

1980

Creation of Magnum in Paris.

1982

Creation of Dispatch, Arpège Son, and Caméléon, which would become Dushow in 2011

1987

Creation of Euphonie, which would become Euroson in 1989 and then Novelty

2000

Creation of the Groupe Novelty, the holding company owning Euroson.

2001

First Euroson agency in Toulouse.

2003

Since 2003, Jacques de La Guillonnière has continually expanded the Group through a series of clever and targeted acquisitions. Recent years have seen Novelty's most significant declaration of intent.

2009

All brands of the Groupe Novelty (Novelty, Euroson, Interpel, JLT Services, VPS, Stagecraft, Campany, Rentup) are consolidated in a single warehouse in Longjumeau

2010

Euroson becomes Novelty, encompassing all the Group’s generalist service activities

2011

Creation of Dushow SAS (Paris, Nice, Marseille)

2016

Novelty and Magnum form a holding company to become one of the European leaders in technical services for shows and events.

2017

This was followed in 2017 by the acquisition of Potar Hurlant, a specialist in live sound rental for 30 years.

2018

The Groupe Novelty acquires the Groupe Dushow, marking the creation of the Groupe Novelty-Magnum-Dushow.

2019

Novelty establishes a presence in the Middle East with the acquisition of IRIS, which becomes Novelty Middle East with two agencies in Dubai and Dammam.

2021

Integration of the research and development office for stage design with TEAMAGINE.

2022

BBS Backline joins Novelty. Integration of the Backline activity with BBS. Backloc becomes BBS Azur and BBS Sud becomes BBS Marseille.
The company Contact joins Novelty and becomes the Novelty Normandy agency.
Opening of the Novelty Doha agency.
Integration of the stage structures activity with On Stage (integration of SMTC company).

2023

The company New Light joins Novelty to become the Novelty Italy agency.
Integration of the company Lagoona, which becomes Novelty Grand Est.

2024

CHS joins the Groupe Novelty-Magnum-Dushow and becomes Novelty Portugal.
C17, a specialist in stage effects, and Seven, a rigging specialist, join the Groupe Novelty-Magnum-Dushow
